As you may be aware at appointment, all mining and exploration activities had been materially placed on care and maintenance operations. As part of developing and realising value for creditors the Administrators have approved a project to commence limited processing of the remaining broken ore stocks from Mungana, Balcooma and Baal Gammon mine sites. Processing the ore will produce saleable zinc, copper and lead concentrates over a period of approximately twelve (12) weeks. The project commenced on 21 August 2012 with people mobilising at the Mt Garnet site to start the concentrator on 22 August 2012. Ore haulage from Balcooma and Mungana sites will commence in the last week of August with processing of broken ore stocks continuing throughout October.
