I aformed the opinion that john Armstrong was a man of Integrity. I do not believe that hos decisions would be anything other than honest and forthright. He impresed me in this regard .
I accept their explanation on the sale process. Life isnt as simple as some of us would like it to be be. We would love for txn to announce an efs sale tomorrow at a huge premium and txn to double overnight. Of course we would, but it is txn that has to manage the complexity of the sale process and once again, i truly believe they are acting in our best interest.
My gut feel from the egm is that we will be back again by the end of the year and it will be more of a backslapping affair.
I was happy with the way the spoke and conducted themselves. I went in thinking my txn investment would be short term and sold after efs sale. I am now thinking more longer term. I like the merger idea and i like the plans.
Just my views post the meeting. Doesnt make them right, but im glad i went because i feel much more comfortble with my investment.
Will be at the next one. The sausage rolls were nice too. Coffe could have been hotter.
