It will be interesting to see what happens next - the really scary thing for iron ore players right now is that the DJIA is over 13,000 and Europe has been travelling along OK recently. Globally, equity markets have been travelling along OK but iron ore has been getting slaughtered.
What would happen if some really bad news suddenly came out of Spain or the DJIA retraced to 10,000?
I grabbed a few more AGO this week in the $1.30's but the cue is securely placed back in the rack now, things could get worse before they get better. I think if the iron ore spot price goes very far below $90 p/t the Iron Valley deal in in real doubt, although FMG are (as usual) talking up iron ore demand and they reckon the spot price is deceptive.
