Like you DD is disappointing and didn't improve in the 2nd half.
No not an accountant. I'm a operational consultant, run my own consulting company. We help companies pretty much do exactly what MM is doing with SKE, get managers to behave like managers, lift activity levels, identify what is important to the business and improve that. That's why I understand operational indicators like DD, AR that's about the 1st indicator we install, your indicators are great for analysis, but for ppl collecting the money etc., like AR clerks, then DD works for them much better to visualise their achievements. I've done a few temp agency projects (in Europe) so understand the potential and what needed to be done with SKE. It was very frustrating in 2009 to have Hargraves bang on about $40 mil in savings and then deliver diddly squat.
