I doubt you would get too many here upset about the takeover by SLR, however if you actually listened to what is being said, it is the manner in which this has unfolded that concerns many.
Many here have voiced concerns about a number of things that happened immediately prior to this announcement, which according to reports "has been a long time in the making". These concerns include Directors buying shares prior to the takeover, the capital raising and issuing of shares to institutions prior to the takeover, the requirement for underground mining to cease as part of the takeover deal and more!
I have no idear why SLR's share price is what is is today and whether this is a good deal for them or not (that is not the issue here) What is evident however is that many here believe that the share price of IGR was manipulated down to 29 cents and that to suggest that IGR shareholders have been paid a 40% premium under this deal is simply a load of crud!
