i would personally release Mal 1-2 at the same time. Mal 1 on it's own would provide a misleading result as it terminated far too early above target imo. The fact that the lab is at fault, is just bad luck. I can only imagine the managment are going up the wall with us. There is more than one assay lab in PNG, so things should get back to normal on the news flow front. I have waited 3 months for results in some companies because of back logs, this should just be a one off with any luck. The rig should also be getting sorted for Mal 3 any day now imo. If this is a serious discovery, it won't matter about the delays. we could see a result any day. dyor.
