I totally agree about making money from the capital raisings, they have had a good history about making the smaller punter some money, although the issues done to the bigger investors have not enjoyed the same success, from memory the last one was done at 20 cents. Interesting that a big buyer has been there , soaking up shares at just over the spp price, thats 2 lots of one million buyers in the last 2 days. I think that shareholders should not underestimate how much this project could be worth to another gold company, ie instead of financing and building the project, it could be sold on at perhaps multiples of the current share price, you would have to think that other gold companies would be looking at this project as a stand alone investment now that all the legwork short of building it has been done, its the old story, if the market does not re rate the company , industry will.
