Can someone explain the difference in capitalisations between MAD and AOK
Both are small scale oil producers.
Both are publicly listed Australian companies operating onshore in the US.
Some facts :
MAD is capitalised at $400m
AOK is capitalised at $ 30m
MAD has production at 757 BOED
AOK has production at 300 BOED
MAD has acreage of 10840
AOK has acreage of 7600 (excluding Kansas)
MAD has 1P reserves of 102 million barrels
AOK has 1P reserves of 96 milllion barrels
MAD has 2P reserves of 192 million barrels
AOK has 2P reserves of 158 milllion barrels
MAD has 3P reserves of 344 million barrels
AOK has 3P reserves of 388 milllion barrels
Would someone please educate me as to how MAD can be capitalised at over 10 times that of AOK .
