Hi Riv, just a quick note about the placement and capital raisings in general.

I believe that more companies should offer renounceable rights issues so that all shareholders can take part in capital raising proportionately to their existing holdings.

However each type of equity raising brings its own set of challenges and issues. If speed was the aim then it is hard to beat a quicky placement to SI's. Unfortunately going this way brings doubt about who knew what and when. It is more than likely that some got the jump with actual knowledge, some by inference and the rest by reactive selling into shareprice weakness. It sucks but that is how the cookie crumbles.
