There was/is a potential suitor or jV partner for PLA in the background.
But they wouldn't/ couldn't touch PLA while dispute exists.
So conveniently, if the entity that the dispute is with disappears, easier to buy the assets and create a new entity.
Avoids the uncertainties of SA legal hangovers.
