To cut to the chase the previous BRM board, including WR, Cusak, Ashton, Norgard and Paterson, were naive and utterly failed their due diligence on Wah Nam and its intentions.
Having said that though, I did not forsee either that Wah Nam would turn out to be the nightmare it was. However I wasn't selling Wah Nam very large tranches of shares pre-takover like WR and Norgard were. Wah Nam would not have reached its 19.9% stake without the help of WR and Norgard.
