Any idea who bought these 400K US convertible notes?
The 12% interest is quite generous, CBD must be pretty desperate to go for deals like this.
They probably need some US currency for the merger, could not use RECs out there in the old USA.
Anyway, they must be expecting to make a half a million by December to redeem them or they think SP will be above 12c and the notes converted to shares.
If that happens, I hope they will not do a same trick they did with Hunter Hall and hand out extra bonuses, out of gratitude.

And a directors resignation at the same time, what is going on?
I bet James Anderson wants to spend more time with his family.
