Those who sit on the sideline for this to happen may be stirring and dipping their toes in the water.

Usually the dividend payers seem to move first, followed a few weeks later by the tiddlers such as CBD.

However, CBD is, as you say, cheap compared to book value and expected earnings. Maybe it is being treated as a more secure business.

I was discussing CBD with a friend yesterday and we agreed that CBD was a no brainer up to at least 11c - presuming that all goes accourding to plan.
