I would guess many sold as the rest of the sector was quite beaten-up at bargain prices so made some sense to lock in profits and invest elsewhere. As I posted on the GOLD forum that wave of cash should be headed for the ASX gold sector. Also I expect some bought back into GDO in the 40s.
