It has not had any work done on it for a long time, as far as I know.
Exco was spending most of the available cash on E1, Monakoff & White Dam for many years, as these were the most important deposits.
Are you expecting news about a new drilling program,
or will they sell this one as well, as it has an existing mining lease.
If they are looking to sell, then I'm going to start thinking about M & A more seriously.
Here's what I've got on Kangaroo Rat, dates back to around late 2006, I think
KANGAROO RAT
26 shallow RC holes for 562m (KRRC008-033) were completed at the Kangaroo Rat Prospect to test the oxide zone above the defined sulphide mineralisation. Significant zones of oxide mineralisation were encountered to a depth of approximately 30m. Intersections are shown in the table below:
Initial testwork suggests the bulk of the copper in this zone is acid leachable. Four RC holes and one Diamond drill hole were completed on the southwestern margin of the sulphide resource (for 298m RC and 119m DDH). Holes were designed to test the mineralized structure beyond the limits of the previously defined resource. Significant results from these holes have been tabulated below:
