bsredoje - it was a broker friend of mine who attended a PLY briefing where they said that they loved working with EXS but would like a bigger slice of the pie.

In relation to super funds jumping at the last minutes - when the stock was around 62 cents a super fund (paying a pension) could jump in and buy the stock for 12 cents (62 - 38 - 12). This was a great deal seeing the post dividend cash was always going to be more than 12 cents. This attracted super funds (many who I work for) to buy the stock by the millions even though they had no interest in it.

At around 70 cents a super fund trustee must actually understand the business and appreciate that there is value post dividend ie. it is no longer a simple calculation. As a result I haven't seen the same interest from the SMSF market.

As much as I'd like there to be a run on the stock like RHG and WPG this is a different proposition.
