If you can't pan it in the regrind cyclone underflow then it doesn't exist. I couldn't.
Taking away the knelson was the right move. it wasn't there to recover gravity gold. There isn't any gravity gold after a 1400ppm leach. So what was it there to do? Recover unoxidised sulphides. But it's mass pull is too low and water consumption too high. That's why it was going to be replaced with something else, but the consultant (with zero experience in that sort of plant) said no.
Would have paid for itself in the first week of full operation. Would have paid for itself in a shift of poor operation. lucky it's always smooth sailing at Wiluna.... happy days.
