Appointment of Ed Nealon as Executive Chairman

The Directors of Sylvania Resources Limited (“Sylvania”) are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ed Nealon as Executive Chairman of Sylvania with immediate effect. Mr Nealon previously held the position of Non-Executive Chairman of Sylvania.

Mr Nealon was the founder of Aquarius Platinum Limited, which under his stewardship grew to a market capitalisation in excess of A$700 million.

As a consequence of this appointment, Mr Grant Button has stepped down from the position of Managing Director, but remains as a Director, of Sylvania.
