Destra CEO, Dominic Carosa, can see the positive side of Apple Computer's decision to open an iTunes music store in Australia. Carosa says that, although Apple may secure the "lion's share" of the market in Australia, other online music suppliers will also benefit. According to Carosa, Apple will expand the nation's online music market and will boost consumer awareness of the ways in which music can be bought or sold. In the weeks following 5 May 2005 Destra begins establishing kiosks that will be connected via the internet to the online music supplier's mp3.com.au web site, and will allow customers to select songs and burn their own compilations onto CDs.
