Regarding the KPMG valuation Im reluctant to say too much as I assume some Glencore or KPMG could be reading these posts.
Suffice to say that there is a case to raise regarding conflict of interest and the prior purchases by directors could easily see them considering the law that raises the prospect of a jail term because of insider trading which has become one of ASIC's easily identifiable litigation pursuits following recent successes.
Most of the funding providers accept that they will have to do their own reading and research so a general outline is usually sufficient succinctly pointing out where you believe the injustice has occurred.
The timing is probably good because Deloittes is being sued for 7.5billion regarding the GFC audits.
Also Bank of America continues to settle many millions of dollars of claims on the mortgage crisis in the US.
Just a final thought it may be worth email a few US legal firms. They just love these sorts of cases particularly when the know that Glencore has such deeeeep pockets. After you give the case case to these people it really requires very little time and input from shareholders.
