The 66 million + shares set to be issued to Ivanhoe Mines @ $1.39 aren't due to be settled until early november. The issue will/would drop Ivanhoe Mines holding from 62% to 59%..
At todays price they would be able to get an extra 40m + shares or over 100m (approx) all together for the same amount of cash the company requires. The total number of shares on issue would then be approx 588m and Ivanhoe Mines would hold approx 360m and maintain 62% would it not?
