Why does the ASX waste its time with these enquiries?

Every company responds in the same way.

Why not ask more forensic questions, such as:

'Why did CBD release a blatently misleading announcement claiming that a wind project ahd been commenced when in the body of the text it goes onto say that this is not the case? ASX requires CBD to issue a correction...........'

'Could the company clarify whether the 'agreement' regarding this proposed project has been accompanied by the signing of a contract? If not, what is the foundation of the 'agreement'? If a contract has been signed is it the intention of the comapny to release details such as the price agreed to in the contract?'

'Who is responsible for releasing this information? What action has been taken against this officer?

'Why did the company claim in a meeting with the media that the same project was to be finalised in the last week of Apri and not make an official ASX announcement? Further why did the company not later issue a further statement as to what caused the delay?'
