I'm wondering if Peter Martin Vanderspuy might be gathering up a few more. I noted that his number of shares has almost doubled in the past year from 6,935,087 (2.16%) to 13,330,545 (3.2%). Source: PLA Annual Reports 2010/2011.
From what I can tell, he must have made an absolute packet from holding Zimplats Holdings (ZIM) in the early days. Now he's accumulating PLA. I'm sure he know's his stuff and understands the company. Perhaps he's looking to join the board - now that would be something!
Peter Vanderspuy (BSc, MSc, FAusIMM, MCIMM) was a founding member of Zimplats Holdings (ZIM) Board and is a past Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of both Zimplats and Delta Gold Limited (later taken over by Barrack. He was intimately involved with the Hartley and Ngezi projects from inception. He has around 50 years? experience in the mining industry in Australasia, Africa and North America. Has anyone else been following this story more closely than me? - I'm sure there must be! Thoughts?
Given the 4-5 or is it 6 large cross trades over the past two months and the increase in volume traded, I get the feeling there's something coming...
