Can u explain how local community has a 35% interest?

If so, the recent shannagans of worker strikes, gov closure, death & road blockages are even more astonishing. Why would a local community / government strangle such an important business in the area.

The local people must know that blocking the road would hurt PLA bringing it 1 step closer to bankruptcy ? PLA will probably produce less than 8,000 ounces this quarter, amounting to massive losses again?

Amazing how narrow minded some people can be. I understand why many SA expats thing the country is going down the drain, ever since the new gov took over.
