Thanks for the good post.

I do happen to know some of these farmers involved in these situations in the Liverpool Plains Area. I have met them over the years through one of my businesses, and I got to like their lifestile so much that, not only I continued to retain a reasonable size landholding previous to then, but I bought some more lands myself at every opportunity that came my way.

Let it be clear though, that my properties have nothing to do with those lands in question. Nothing at all. Not for now anyway, and no one will know if it will be so one day or another.

Yes, it is also well knwon in other forums, that I am a Farmer myself, and the comments made in regard to farmers in general in the way TBE made them publicly on this threads, have hit a raw nerve. Especially when he called us lazy ar...es. I would like to see him working as hard and as often with extremely long hours when it is required, and while working everyday of the week and at times at night, and see if he could last the pace, lol. That, to me would have to be a comment based on ingenuity alone and nothing else.

I have offered to take him around to see what I am talking about, and I even go further and invite him to do some of the things we do out here. I will make sure that he will walk in deep cow manure up to his knees if he wants to, or even make him pull a few calves or even mark them. If that is not enough I will put him on a tractor for 24 or 48 hours if he wants to, or put him on a Header driving day and night while harvesting crops. And when it rains, making him do some maintenance work on the machinery and/or go out and do some fences repairs, lol. When, and if he lasts the go, only then he can decide if he can still call us lazy ar..es.

By the way, and let it be clear to all, that I am a Bean Counter as well. As such, I am of the belief that I know what these people (Farmers) are going through, and their needs.

As for BOW, I don't believe that we will have to worry about what is currently effecting other CSG companies. For, I am under the beliefs that our tenements may not be as sensible as others regarding prime Agricultural Farming Lands.
