Commander awarded major IT Managed Services contract
Commander Communications Limited (ASX: CDR) announced today it has been awarded a major IT Managed Services contract by Foster’s Group Limited (ASX: FGL).
The contract is based on a two plus two year term and has significant business implications for Commander.
The revenue value of the contract is variable based on the volume of services performed by Commander on behalf of Foster’s over the contract period.
Commercial details of the contract are subject to confidentiality and non disclosure agreements.
The announcement brings forward by 12 months guidance given on Commander’s expansion in the Enterprise Managed Services Business.
Whilst there will be a marginal impact on CDR’s FY2005 results due to implementation costs being incurred, there will be both revenue and margin benefits from the contract in future years.
The award of the contract underscores Commander’s commitment to its 360 degree products and services strategy for both the SME and the Enterprise market sectors.
