It doesn't seem to matter who your friends are in this market, all stocks are getting smashed.

If the share price hadn't dropped 10% since your purchase Mike I would have said that was a great buy although irrational fear and panic will make all investors with the courage to buy look a little silly, in the short term at least.

Anyone with the courage and foresight to buy at these prices will likely be rewarded handsomely in the medium to long run, fortunes are made at times of irrational fear like this when you can take significant stakes in great companies with long bright futures at prices which wouldn't be available otherwise. Few seem able to do so though.
