The US market overnight is starting to look like the panic of 08-09. It was interesting that Newmont Gold bucked the trend for most of the US session.The HUI will make interesting watching over the next few weeks.

The big question down here is can our gold stocks also buck the trend and , like real gold, provide a safe haven.

KRM is now well positioned( being non hedged & having a low cost of production) to capitalise on the POG and once the panic selling triggered by the US market subsides, KRM and other small producers should get a lift once the market realises that EPS will soar with the current POG.

This market drop could also give rise to a spate of M&As.
