I disagree Juzzy. When a company fails to meet a stated deadline or target, market reaction can flow very quickly through to the share price.
Further, time is money. When there are delays in the field, it is costing the significant amounts of money. Once again, this can cause cost blowouts down the line with ramifications on cash reserves and SP.
Not to mention the timely release of multiple sets of results in a short time frame and the subsequent compounding potential for a SP spike.
So, It does make a difference Juzzy. All shareholders should have a healthy expectation that any company hits it's forecasts.
