Core do not have a JORC Resource figure at present that has been announced as far as I am aware. They were hoping to announce in May 2011 a JORC Resource. Core's road access is actually through SDL's Congo tenement. Mbarga has five different types of iron ore plus Itabirite, with DSO up to 68%Fe. Metzimevin and I believe Meridoinal has higher grade DSO than Mbarga. Nabeba looks to be the jewel in the crown as far as overall grade and quantity of DSO so far.
The road going through Sembe is rather deceptive on the maps shown. The roads in the Congo and Cameroon running close to the borders are dirt roads.
As far as a rail spur line to Nabeba of a mere 150km,will be some feat in the terrain that exists in this part of the country I believe.
Best bet is to wait for drill results and metallurgical results of the cores before counting on having 1 billion tonnes of high grade 62%Fe.
XRF figures and rock chip samples from Mbarga started off showing up to 68%Fe.
Will depend also on how close to surface and depth of the DSO before they hit perhaps Itabirite. Mbarga has DSO down to the 50mt mark, while Nabeba has DSO down to over 100mt deep. I know that Avima has DSO down to close to 200mt deep.
Regards Westcott.
