I was trying to post this as a new thread, but it said, MKO code not valid! Anyway, here it is: ____________________________
Hi there, holders.I know nothing really of your company, but I've been reading some of your posts. I have sdeen that there has been a release of escrowed shares, and some dumping seems to have been going on, so I looked up MKO in the AFR and came across this article:
Of interest, on discussing pre-IPO and vewnbdor shares, it says the following:
"Importantly, pre-IPO shares and vendor shares are in escrow for two years. No cheap shares can be dumped on the market after listing."
I have to presume that the condition above, was changed for the prospectus, or by the company at some point, for the escrowed shares to be released. Can someone check this, please?
Also, the article says, "... 20.2m pre-IPO shares having been issued at 10c each in tranches over the last nine months."
The above paragraph might answer the questions about the cost of the shares- I guess if they were issued at 10c, selling them now is not much of a loss.
Ther article is quite comprehensive. It may have been discussed before on the MKO threads- I didn't search back too far- just the last couple of pages (alternatively, you may all know this stuff). If you are not a member of the AFR online, you can get a trial membership for 14 days, chuck in your credit card details, cancel before the end of the trial, and it's free.
Cheers.
