It was a great report maybe some people are just a little shy of gold miners in Indonesia I know I have a couple of old horror stories myself. At a cocktail party a few months back I thought it was in particular bad taste of my host knowing I was a Gold Bug from way back to bring up Bre-X Minerals. Remember those Calgary cowboys I nearly choked on my olive!

Once we bring in the New Year and the tax loss pressure is off we could see a re-rating of some of these gold stocks on the ASX providing of course we do not get a general stock market mauling as Uncle Bens QE 2 comes to a close at the same time.

I saw some footage from Greece earlier today complete with a bank and police riot shield daubed in red paint. I know it was only paint but that may be close enough for me to consider the old adage to buy up stocks when you see blood in the streets!

I hope M.Mick proves to be correct in his assessment and hopefully we will be rewarded one day for having the intestinal fortitude to hold on to our stock during these turbulent times.
