re: Ann: Assays Confirm High Grade Copper Int... Well to be fair, the picture only showed us just over 6m of the best core - so I think I called it 7m @ 8%. Which given the result of 10m at 6.8% means I might have been a touch under at 8% for that section, as the unseen margins adding another 3m of grade probably dilute the overall result, but I commented that 8% was conservative anyway.
I should have been braver and called the chalcocite (nearly did) as that adds nicely to the exploration story.
If the malachite banding is symptomatic of weathering and is consequently horizontal - i.e. parallel to surface, (that's a big "if"), then judging by the core, it looks like true width may be some 20% less - just a guess.
Already seems to be a fair basis for an open pit to dig up that oxide ore. Should be heap-leachable too, so potentially a good return on capex.
Seems the stocks I gamble on do not have good comradery with the labs.
