Plse don't ever buy shares because their low priced, say under a cent. Consider the company as a whole. e.g. is AXM worth $44m or not. Whether there are 5 billion shares at a cent or 4.4m shares at $10 should be irrelevant to whether you buy or not.
Just value the company as a whole. If its a bargain, buy and oneday it's value will be reflected in its rising share price.
If not its value will stay where it is,or fall.
Sometimes shares are emotionally valued, with good historic reason as would appear here.
If you can pick a change, such as new management,or some other fundamental change,it may be a bargain,if those prejudices against it remain.
In the end it's your sound or unsound judgement that makes or looses your capital.
Best of luck.I do not listen to advise on hotcopper, but find others ideas and sometimes the information they have found useful in making my decisions.
Others have been kind enough to expose their analysis to myself others to review and coment,so i do as well, but only after i have done what i have decided to do.
There are rampers and downrampers here, keep above that and do your own thing. If i;m right shares ultimately rise,if i'm wrong i ultimately loose as i'm a value investor, not a trader.
