re: Ann: Significant Gold-Copper Porphyry Int... Wow - so much info in the Investor preso.
Was a bit worried about the low copper grades in that 215m intersection - until I read that Oxindo can buy back 65% of the project if Augur prove up more than 100Mt at 0.5% Cu cutoff - so stuff the copper, its gold I want to see lots of!!!
Having a quick look at the Mag diagram and assuming mineralization runs NNW/SSE its not going to be small.
Could be well over 100Mt if you asssume the white/red mag highs are underlain by decent thicknesss of mineralization.
The Project map (and thanks to management for including the tenement outline - where is it for Jampang???) I think shows what Augur might really be interested in - the Epithermal gold targets.
And starting to be a bit more interested in Jampang, the statement about "Near Surface, thick supergene gold"
is exactly what I wanted to hear.
I am almost 100% sure the current processing plant is for supergene ore as the current owner probably haven't dug down the >30m required to hit the primary ore.
Hole JADD6 hit 0.5m at 56g/t from 7m - those kind of grades could exist all along the 500+m of strike and would be a nice little earner if they can just be scooped up and run through the existing plant.
IMHO Augur are bypassing any attempt to delineate the supergene - it may be something they will target if they purchase the tenement. JADD6 didnt even make it into the presentation.
And lastly check out the mag diag for Jampang - looks familiar doesnt it - another Porphyry could explain the increase in copper grades at depth (assuming no structural complications in the geology).
If the Co thinks this is the case maybe a 300-500m vertical diamond hole might be in order.
Havent even got onto the Oz tenements but I hope they arent necessarily targeted for divestment. Too many unanswered questions, Homerville JORC upgrades, silver at Homerville, scandium, C1, platimum at Goodrich...
Was recently reading how Ridgeway had almost NO geophysical/geochem footprint and was only found by drilling, so IMHO the Lachlan Fold belt is by no means an exploration dead end.
