It does just look like weathering oxide doesnt it.
BUT what did you make of the comment about a high dip structural fabric. Seems the implication is that the mineralization is from something else.
Wouldn't any structure related to weathering be almost horizontal (unless palaeo structures??).
Will see soon enough I suppose.
