    Martin,

    In answer to your questions:

I would expect a flow of news to start hitting the market any day now. I'm have been quite surprised to see some selling lately. Can't believe someone recently bagged over 1million ops for as little as .5c? Imo, that's a massive steal

From their 9 March 2011 update:

"bioMD Limited who last month announced an offmarket takeover of Allied Medical Limited, today announced it has signed a Material Transfer Agreement which will allow the continuation of the tissue heart valve feasibility study commenced last year."

"A number of "ready for sale" tissue heart valves have arrived in Australia and the current study will commence tomorrow."

"The study is being jointly conducted by bioMD's subsidiary Celxcel and a global tissue heart valve manufacturer. The feasibility study successfully completed its first major milestone late last year and will now continue to the second phase. This phase will include two simultaneous studies, an in vivo tissue comparison study and an in vitro fatigue testing calcification model."

    From their 2010 annual report:

"The global market for tissue heart valves, currently
estimated to be US$700 million, is growing at an annual
growth rate of 7% and is set for increased growth due
to the introduction of new percutaneously implanted
tissue heart valves for elderly patients suffering from
    aortic stenosis."
