Not only does deceiving everyone like that not achieve anything for DMN... it would also be illegal for them to make such an announcement if they have more relevant information.

I think it is much more likely they just ran with their best available knowledge without doing all the possible due-diligence... that's neglectful, but not illegal (and not entirely out-of-character for DMN, let's face it).

I do think you are absolutely right that this will take some more time than people would like... but I also think that is no cause for alarm. The SP may drift lower as a result due to all the over-excited investors that got in and are now going to be disillusioned with progress... but that's just the market.

Those that believed in the REE story before, have no reason to change their opinion now... and those that are patient may well be very handsomely rewarded. And those that are too impatient will sell out and move on again. No big deal.
