Hugh did return my call and it is great news for holders. It has been a difficult year for him dealing with Federal Beaurocrats that have very little interest in helping local economies. However, as you can see from TD's post and the announcement today everything is all go ahead as from a meeting last Friday week. Because there is strong local support the present 30-day consultation on the access is already a "fait accompli". Drilling to begin in May. They currently have access to two artesian wells and if this water supply isn't sufficient there is a dam 20 kms away feed by snow melt. The area lacks wilderness and wildlife. Hugh has only seen a couple of birds and a rabbit in the 12 months he has been there. The canyons that need protecting are over 10 kms away and would be unaffected by a full scale mining operation, including evapouration ponds.

P.S. He said Lake Disappointment in WA is apprpriately named. He has looked at the grades here and says they are not high enough. He says it has to be over 60%K to be economic as indicated in cycle 13.
