I 100% agree with you Wangchung,

So much so, that I rang the company and asked to speak to someone regarding the announcement. A message taken by receptionist

"Directors aren't in yet and they will call you back"

No call back yet. I had one question:

"Is this JORC for 'coking coal' or not?"

Pretty simple.

I am not a technical coal specialist. However, I do know that the kcal is in the right range, however the sulphur, moisture, ash content has me buggered.

I have looked everywhere on the internet to try and find an answer - without luck.

My suspicions were aroused when reading the announcement that at no point in the narrative did they refer to their coal as 'coking coal'... just terms like "..coal resource...".

They have also lumped all of their JORC coal resources into a single 400mt figure instead of keeping the thermal and [assumed] coking coal separate - these are clearly different products with greatly different $$ values per t and I would assume that HUN would be shouting that they were now a COKING COAL company.

Are they using smoke and mirrors?

Are they assuming their investors are smarter than they [me] really are?

A confirmation would be good. I can't work out if the sell off today was:

(1) disappointment at the type of coal JORC'ed
(2) disappointment at the size of the coal deposit JORC'ed
(3) A 'sell the fact' event

I'll let you know if HUN ever call me back to clarify.
