Sounds like the contract work will continue BUT there is a public investigation as to whether any corruption was involved in its award.

On the surface, this looks like an investment of $US39m for a return of about $2.1m per year for 20 years - a terrible IRR of about 0.7% (and that's not even allowing for the Maldives government getting 5% of "profit").
