I am a cpl holder, and that stock appreciated due to these factors:

Well reputed CEO joining
Well respected investment house (Highland Park) joining.

I feel for jal shareholders because your project was backdoored like cpl's at same time.

I would be weary/informed and invest wisely.

CPL has had many things fall right for them due to some luck, and skill. Fairytale story.

I hope this happens for JAL but I wouldn't assume it fact just cause it happened for cpl.
