The big money in this stock was made by those that got in early on in the float around 10 years ago at 10c. SHAWS sold the story as a good idea where they would drill those long forgotten oil fields in the US that were considered uneconomical by the previous owners. It worked as the oil price rose and even with all the debt they were accumulating the sentiment was still good as there was always the possibility of hitting a big gusher. Once the story got tired and the debt burdensome, management took their eye off the ball, investors got out above $1 and higher happy as larry and moved on while the rest of us sat there hoping the company would turn things around. The oil was still in the ground, the oil price was threatening to explode, peak oil was being talked about yet in the last boom when oil hit 150 a barrel AMU did nothing. That was the clue to get out. I did but recently got back in as i thought at this price it was seriously undervalued. Seems the management isnt interested and maybe its best for everyone to give it all to a new owner and let them carry on. Towner got out with 10 years of service and im sure he thought he was a success as these guys only see the better days. I hope there will be more than one offer then at least can make a dollar this time around.
