Rampage 01 & Bundy_too It is good to a few others join in the PPN discussion on this forum at last.
I own stocks that bore me to tears but I must admit that with PPN there has never been a dull moment in its 7 year history commencing with the engagement of the famous Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss to aid publicity with the launch.
Perhaps they should have asked poor old Heidi to come out of her retirement home to announce to the world that we now have regular dividends.
I bought these shares for regular dividends and never lost faith that the string of financial disasters would come to an end and profits/dividends would follow.
With the benefit of hindsight, if they had stuck to the business they know best and left the Royal Melbourne Hotel lease alone, PPN dividends would have flowed a lot earlier.
It may not be the 5 cps promised in 2003 but I am happy enough with the 3.98 cps this year. If the CEO's pay took a haircut, the dividend could be a bit higher
