The more l think about it and in light of feedback from Bitzer, a partial asset sale may not be such a bad thing.

That is provided that the remaining assets are cash flow positive and that the debt is reduced. Who knows, they may even buy back a swag of shares.

A complete sale exposes the CGT liability as the company has 34M in retained earnings. Not sure of the tax liability in the USA.
