The AMU Board are all accountants, apart from Peter Lehle, who I understand is an independant Geo. None have ever run (Beard takes some credit that he has!) a company let alone started one.If BHP shareholders had taken taken the same view as this mob back in 1885 where would it have been? What are these folks thinking. Oil shortage globally and they want to sell now! Bloody hell the AMU assets are proven and producing. Why give them away now? Oil price over the medium/long term is not going to retreat. What is their motivation? One wonders. Trading halt...Suspension !
What next? Oh! We did not realise the inherant value !! Not happy with the total lack of disclosure. Perhaps ASIC should have a watching brief.
I like FNQ because we deal with real people. I just hope this works out. I will be watching.
