My advice is put your script in the bottom draw and forget about it as I don?t think you will ever see a return unless you purchased at 2c.
Investec may be clever but all but one of the board guys are Investec and look where they took Staging. They made the purchases and the bad deals that has left all the debt and they haven?t made any apologies or better still offered to resign. They don?t have a plan to continue capital expenditure, reduce debt and importantly pay a dividend. They can?t even say don?t worry about no dividend as you will get a capital gain. Hate to be someone who has hung on from $2.65 to today?s 1.9c
They are paying around $10 million in interest pa yet only making an EBIT of around $10 or so million so they must reduce debt for us to see any dividend any time soon. If they keep signing new contracts at ever increasing commission rates, that is a slippery slope to oblivion even if it brings in revenue. Revenue without profit is the reason where we are now.
Maybe Investec could do the right thing and make a play for the remainder of the stock.
