Well they don't have native title issues. And they don't have the problems with cyanide that the gold industry in Nevada has. And they don't have to do an environmental study for a new rail line (or have to do a study on funding one). And with 15% or 17% unemployment in Nevada you can bet Senator Harry Reid (son of a miner) will be pushing hard to get any mining approved.
