Pokerface, The assets in this company are worth a lot more than the market capitalisation. However the executives and directors have the use of the assets and cashflow for their monthly pay. The shareholders will get no benefit from the assets. It has been obvious for a long time that it would be in the shareholders interests for TAP to be wound up and the proceeds distributed to shareholders. The simple and clear proof of this is no dividends and years of declining shareprice despite massive cash inflows. Have a look at a graph of the shareprice. They have used cashflow to pay themselves and support an exploration effort that has clearly never been subject to critical review of its achievements. The best thing directors could do for shareholders would be to announce a liquidation.
