I am really happy to see so many new people posting on the CCC threads. You guys have made a good decision in buying and following this ripper "emerging mid-tier coal producer". Recently I've been investing in some other stocks & also posting on various threads. It can be a bit intimidating posting on a stock one is new to, esp. when you are mixing it with older heads who know the stock inside out and back to front and are on first name terms with all the directors & managers. Some old-timers can (unfortunately) be a bit arrogant and condescending to newbies. Yet, this is one of the most pleasant and friendly threads I have spent time on, even if sometimes we have renegade elements and pranksters amongst us. The ignore button can also save a lot of angst if anyone becomes a serial pest. Hopefully we can continue here to keep the discussions civil, complimentary and constructive.

The top posters on ContiCoal, in my view, not necessarily in order of importance are: Domum, ESP, Champ2003, Septa, Mikayla, Brenden, FunkyMonk, GeoNeo, Schura, Vegemight, MasseyFerguson, CL27, Stelep7 and InsideMoney. A very talented bunch - and a formidable brains trust. The thumbs usually tell the story.

Having had the pleasure of meeting and communicating with a couple of Conti Directors and having a discussion with the CEO Don Turvey, I have great confidence in our leaders and managers. They have achieved a stunning deal in Mashala, and they have the nous and connections to secure more such deals in the future. Conti is poised to become a big name player in the SA thermal coal market within the next 4 years. The EDF off-take & funding arrangements speak volumes for the regard with which Conti is held by the big boys of SA coal.

So, welcome aboard the Conti express to thermal glory. Don't feel shy about posting your thoughts, so long as you have good questions to ask & positive contributions to make. Occasional tom-foolery is also appreciated, just so long as our beloved mods agree with the motivation, language and intent.
